The Juventus hitman would be an excellent addition for Liverpool.
Paulo Dybala’s future at Juventus is becoming increasingly more uncertain with every day that passes, and Liverpool should be keeping a close eye on the Argentine’s situation.
According to Italian football expert Adam Digby, the 25-year-old could be forced out of Turin this summer.
“I think Dybala will be the one player who is forced to move on. I think the presence of Cristiano Ronaldo forced Juventus to play a front three for the most of last season and the only position available to Dybala in that system is wide on the right – that doesn’t suit him.”
And should Dybala leave Juventus, he would be an excellent addition for Liverpool.
Jurgen Klopp’s side were so close to winning the Premier League title last season, missing out by just one point, and the Argentina international could be the X-factor signing that the Merseyside outfit need in order to take them to that elusive next level.
The Juve forward is valued at €70 million (£62 million), according to Italian media outlet Calcio Mercato, and in today’s day and age, that would represent somewhat of a bargain for Liverpool.
Dybala didn’t enjoy the best of campaigns last season, racking up just 10 goals and six assists, but that isn’t to say that he wouldn’t be an excellent addition for the Reds.
The Argentina international played somewhat in the shadows of Cristiano Ronaldo, and if given the chance to play regularly at Liverpool, he could return to his former glories.
He would also provide Liverpool with the option of playing 4-2-3-1, given his preference of operating in the number 10 role.
And should they manage to snap him up for the reported fee of £62 million, it might just turn out to be a real bargain for the Reds.
