Paulo Dybala has some Liverpool fans talking on Twitter.
During a game of FIFA with Tottenham Hotspur star Dele Alli, the Juventus striker, who picked Jurgen Klopp’s side in the match, briefly sang the club’s famous ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ anthem.
Here’s how Liverpool fans reacted to the Argentine’s gesture on Twitter:
It’s worth pointing out that Dybala also dropped a ‘COYS’ reference to Alli on Saturday, so neither of these are indications that he’s quitting Juventus to join one of the two Premier League sides.
The week that’s in it, though, it wouldn’t be a huge surprise if Jurgen Klopp was soon linked with a move.
That’s because Liverpool look set to miss out on Timo Werner, the Leipzig striker who’s long been linked with a move to Merseyside.
Instead of joining the Reds, who seemingly couldn’t afford his £52 million release clause, the 24-year-old will reportedly be moving to Chelsea.
One thing is for sure: if the Anfield club can’t afford Werner at £52 million then there’s no way they’ll be signing Dybala……soft spot or not.
