Paul Scholes has said on The Overlap that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane does not fit into Nuno’s style of football.
The former Manchester United midfielder has said that Tottenham are playing counter-attacking footballer under Nuno.
Scholes has added that Kane, 28, is not quick enough to play in a counter-attacking side, which is why he is struggling.
The Englishman said on The Overlap: “They are playing on the counter attack. Harry Kane is not a counter-attack player. He is not quick enough to be that.”
Paul Scholes is right about Harry Kane
Kane has never been the quickest of strikers, and we do understand Scholes’s point.
We cannot expect Kane to play on the counter-attack.
The Spurs star is not that kind of striker.

Kane needs a team on the front foot, and the striker needs to be in and around the opposition penalty area.
Create chances for Kane, and he will score.
We have often seen the Tottenham no. 10 this season come deep and try to create chances.
That should not be the case with Kane.

For Kane to be at his best, he needs to be in and around the opposition penalty area where he is lethal.
The 6ft 2in striker has scored three goals in the Europa Conference League and one goal in the Carabao Cup for Spurs so far this season.
However, Kane has yet to find the back of the net in the Premier League this campaign.
And he has played 468 minutes.
