Paul Scholes has given his verdict on the performance of Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund against Unai Emery’s Aston Villa at Villa Park.
The Manchester United legend was hugely impressed by Hojlund and has praised the striker.
So, what has Paul Scholes said about Rasmus Hojlund? Let’s take a look.
Paul Scholes hails Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund
Well, Manchester United beat Aston Villa 2-1 away from home at Villa Park in the Premier League on Sunday.
Rasmus Hojlund scored one of the goals in the match. The striker found the back of the net in the 17th minute.

Harry Maguire won a header at a corner, and Hojlund, who is rated highly by Alan Pardew, collected the knockdown before playing the ball through Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez’s legs.
It was the fifth Premier League game in a row in which Hojlund has scored, and United legend Paul Scholes was impressed.
Scholes said on Premier League Productions about Hojlund’s goal in the first half: “Rasmus Hojlund is in good form and it’s a proper centre-forward’s goal.
“Maguire’s been a real threat from attacking set pieces, he knows Maguire can’t score from there, and his movement is great. It’s really good centre-forward play. The lad’s full of confidence.”
My View: Rasmus Hojlund becoming a big player for Manchester United
In my opinion, Rasmus Hojlund is starting to become a big player for Manchester United. I think that the striker is coming into his own now.
Hojlund is banging in the goals for fun at the moment. The Denmark international striker is getting into good positions and is playing with confidence. Roy Keane thinks that the 21-year-old is showing a lot of aggression now.
There is still a chance that United could end up in the Premier League top four this season. After all, Erik ten Hag’s side are only six points behind Tottenham Hotspur in fourth.
If the Red Devils are to end up in the UEFA Champions League places, then, in my opinion, Hojlund will have to be on top of his game for the rest of the seasons.
