Paul Scholes said on Amazon Prime (9:42pm, December 6, 2020) that Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino was not at his best against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday evening.

The former Manchester United midfielder was following the Premier League game between Liverpool and Wolves at Anfield for Amazon Prime.

Scholes said on Amazon Prime (9:42pm, December 6, 2020): “I don’t think Firmino had his best game tonight.”

How did Roberto Firmino play against Wolves?

Firmino is one of the best players at Liverpool and is an important figure in manager Jurgen Klopp’s side.

The Brazil international forward has not been exactly great for the Reds so far this season, and, although the 29-year-old was not at his very best against Wolves, he did do quite well on Sunday evening.

Firmino, who can also operate as an attacking midfielder, linked up well with his fellow attacking players, showed some nice skills and touches, and was a problem for the Wolves defence.

According to WhoScored, the Brazilian had a pass accuracy of 80%, took 38 touches, attempted two dribbles, and made one interception.

For Liverpool to win the Premier League title again this season, Firmino will have to be on top of his game throughout the campaign.
