Tottenham Hotspur were given a much-needed boost in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Sky Sports pundit Paul Robinson noticed that there was ‘no real emotion’ from Mauricio Pochettino during Tottenham’s 5-0 win against Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
Spurs went into the match on the back of poor results and performances which had deflated the life out of the fans, manager and his players.
But against Red Star, they were back to their best, with Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son leading the charge for their team on a confidence-boosting night for the team.
Speaking to Soccer Special on Sky Sports News (22/10/19 at 10:10 pm), former goalkeeper Robinson explains what he noticed about Pochettino on the sidelines during the win against Red Star.
On Pochettino’s reaction towards the goals: “It was very subdued tonight,” Robinson told Sky Sports. “Especially when the first two goals went in. The camera panned to him and he was more interested in organising the team and getting them back.
“There was no real emotion, which sometimes you see from him and sometimes you don’t. He was a lot more guarded – there was no Toby Alderweireld tonight and there was no Danny Rose. They played at the weekend and weren’t even in the squad [against Red Star] so don’t for one minute think all is rosy, it’s not a happy camp, but that will go a long way in putting things right.”

As mentioned, it now has provided Spurs with some much-needed confidence and they can now go into their next fixture with a little spring in their step.
On Sunday, Pochettino’s side will take on the Premier League leaders, who are yet to be beaten this season and will be in Belgium on Wednesday night to take on Genk.
All in all, Spurs have finally produced a very positive performance to go with their result as the fans will be hoping this will be the first of many.
