Spurs were destroyed at the Tottenham Hotspur Arena last night and the Lilywhites cult hero pulled no punches against Mauricio Pochettino and co.

Paul Robinson has issued a brutal verdict on Tottenham Hotspur falling to a 7-2 home defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich in the Champions League, in conversation on Sky Sports News.
In a humbling night at the Tottenham Hotspur Arena, Mauricio Pochettino’s charges conceded seven goals at home for first time in a major competition as their Group B opponents completely overwhelmed Spurs.
Heung-min Son gave Tottenham the lead in the 12th minute but Bayern came back through goals from Joshua Kimmich and Robert Lewandowski to lead at the break, before Arsenal alumni Serge Gnabry turned the screw with two goals in two second-half minutes.
Harry Kane handed Spurs a lifeline just after the hour mark, scoring from the spot after Danny Rose was caught by Kingsley Coman, but two more Gnabry goals, either side of Lewandowski’s second, capped off an infamous night for the Lilywhites contingent.

Robinson, who played in goal for Spurs and England during his career, did not pull any punches, telling Sky Sports News: “This is an all-time low in Pochettino’s Tottenham reign. It’s a totally embarrassing night for Tottenham.
“Pochettino has got big problems. There’s clearly something amiss. They look disjointed and disgruntled. When they went two or three goals down, there was no fight. Tottenham were appalling. It’s unacceptable. They capitulated. They had no leaders on the pitch. They had no spine, they had no fight. It was a very, very worrying display.”
As reported by OptaJoe, Tottenham are the first English side to concede seven goals in any European competition since Spurs themselves lost 0-8 to FC Koln in the UEFA Intertoto Cup in July 1995.
