Manchester United’s world-record signing was upbeat ahead of the clash with Southampton at Old Trafford this evening.
France’s Paul Pogba
Manchester United’s £89m signing Paul Pogba has poked fun at new teammate Zlatan Ibrahimovic ahead of his first game since re-signing for the Red Devils earlier this month.
In an interview with France and Arsenal legend Thierry Henry (watch below), Pogba said he “cannot wait” for his Old Trafford return before mentioning how Ibrahimovic has jokingly criticised everything from his hair to his kickboxing technique.
And in an apparent response to these playful jibes, the 23-year-old French international attempted to impersonate the Swede, mannerisms and all.

Ibrahimovic made a scoring start to his United career in last weekend’s 3-1 victory over Bournemouth and now Pogba will be hoping to make a similar impact against another south coast club in Southampton.
United manager Jose Mourinho is expected to name Pogba in his starting 11 against the Saints after the Frenchman sat out the opening fixture due to suspension.

And it’s fair to say Pogba is upbeat ahead of what will be his second Premier League debut for the Red Devils after first featuring against Stoke City back in 2012.
But a lot has happened since then and now with an astronomical price tag attached to him – the expectations are very much on Pogba to deliver.
