The former Spurs defender has been impressed by Mauricio Pochettino’s strong rearguard.

Former Tottenham Hotspur defender Paul Miller has told Talksport his old side’s back line will win them the Premier League.
Spurs conceded the division’s fewest goals alongside Manchester United last season (35) and have picked up where they left off this term, shipping three goals from their opening seven fixtures.
And Miller, who helped the Lilywhites to two FA Cups and a Uefa Cup during a decade of service until 1987, believes thattheir strong rearguard will make all the difference.

After Spurs left-back Danny Rose was praised by Talksport co-host Michael Gray, Miller added: “You mustn’t forget Kyle Walker has improved no end in the last season.
“Plus it helps that we’ve probably got the best centre-half pairing (Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen) in the Premier League. And having a (Victor) Wanyama or (Eric) Dier sat in front of the back four, as you know, is a great defence.

“(The team) who concedes the least goals normally wins the league. If we carry on as we are doing we’ve got a great chance.”
However, when Miller was asked by Talksport presenter Jim White whether Spurs will win the Premier League, Miller responded, unequivocally: “Yes.”
Tottenham, who fell short of second place at the final hurdle last season, climbed to within a point of leaders Manchester City with a comfortable win against Pep Guardiola’s side at White Hart Lane on Sunday.
The Citizens had won all six of their league fixtures under the Spaniard, and remain many people’s favourites for the title – 55 years since Spurs’ last success.
