Levy and Joe Lewis have been a constant source of criticism for Spurs fans this season.

Former Tottenham Hotspur defender Paul Miller has defender chairman Daniel Levy and owner Joe Lewis on Twitter, as fans continue to grow frustrated with Mauricio Pochettino’s lack of financial backing.
Spurs failed to sign any new players in the summer – despite reportedly bidding for Aston Villa playmaker Jack Grealish towards the end of the window – which angered fans.
However, the lack of transfers has not stopped Pochettino’s men, who beat Chelsea to sit third in the table on Saturday, thanks to goals from Dele Alli, Harry Kane and Son Heung-min in the 3-1 win.
Levy and Lewis’ funding has instead been going into the building of the new stadium, which is now set to open in February according to the Independent. Miller argued with a critical fan, explaining Pochettino is being backed in a different way.
Pochettino continues to be linked with moves abroad, with Spain’s biggest sides Barcelona and Real Madrid constantly being touted as the Argentine manager’s next move.
Now in his fifth season at Spurs, though, it seems unlikely that he will leave before moving into the new Stadium. The ex-Southampton and Espanyol boss has five years remaining on his Spurs contract.
