Paul Merson has said that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp should drop Cody Gakpo for Darwin Nunez against David Moyes’s West Ham United at Anfield in the Premier League this weekend.
Liverpool will take on West Ham United at Anfield in the Premier League on Sunday.
Netherlands international forward Cody Gakpo started for the Reds against Wolverhampton Wanderers away from home in the Premier League last weekend.
The £120,000-a-week (Spotrac) star started down the middle in a 4-3-3 formation.
Jurgen Klopp told to drop Cody Gakpo for Darwin Nunez for Liverpool vs West Ham United
Gakpo scored one of the goals for Liverpool.
Darwin Nunez replaced Gakpo in the 56th minute.
Former Arsenal star and Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson believes that Klopp should drop Gakpo for Nunez against West Ham at Anfield in the Premier League this weekend.

Merson wrote in SportsKeeda: “I think Darwin Nunez will start ahead of Cody Gakpo.
“The Uruguayan is more pacy and direct, while the latter knits it all together and brings others into play.
“They are both talented players in their own right, but Nunez suits this game better.”
Big decision for Klopp
In our view, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has a big decision to make regarding Cody Gakpo and Darwin Nunez.
While Nunez is not banging in the goals for fun at the moment, the striker is very quick and is always a handful.
The West Ham United defenders will have to be on their toes against Nunez.
The Uruguay international striker has been making an impact off the bench for Liverpool in the Premier League this season.
Perhaps Klopp should stick with it.
Klopp could always bring Nunez on in the second half and let him run riot against West Ham with his pace, direct running and ability to strike fear into the hearts of the opposition defenders.
