West Ham United have made a poor start to their Premier League campaign.

Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson discussed West Ham’s start to the season, when speaking exclusively to Sky Sports, and suggested that Manuel Pellegrini’s side have become too reliant on Marko Arnautovic.
The Hammers have made an incredibly inconsistent start to their 2018/19 campaign, having taken just eight points from their opening 10 Premier League outings.
Much was expected of West Ham this season, after Pellegrini spent heavily in the summer, bringing nine new faces into the London Stadium.
The east London outfit have so far failed to deliver, however.
Merson spoke exclusively to Sky Sports, and suggested that West Ham have become overly reliant on star man Marko Arnautovic this season:

“There’s very little consistency about West Ham at the moment, they need a run of games and I think it might start here. They rely on Marko Arnautovic so much, and Andriy Yarmolenko’s injury could be a big blow for them in the long run.”
Next up for West Ham is a huge home clash with Burnley tomorrow, and Pellegrini will need every single one of his players to be at their very best, if they are to have any chance whatsoever of beating Sean Dyche’s Clarets side.
