Paul Merson has named Leeds United winger Raphinha in his Premier League Team of the Season on Sky Sports.
Raphinha has been superb for Leeds this term, contributing with six goals and nine assists in 30 Premier League matches.
The Brazilian has settled into life in England excellently and rapidly become one of Leeds’ most important players.
And Merson had now nothing but positive words about the wide-man.
“Raphinha has been an absolute sensation for Leeds this season,” Merson said.
“To go into Leeds as a Brazilian player, and you have to be a certain type of player to play the Leeds way, and he has taken to it like a duck to water and has been absolutely outstanding.”
Raphinha’s form has quickly seen him linked with numerous clubs.
Even today EuroSport have suggested that Borussia Dortmund are keen on the Leeds man.

However, there is no reason to believe that Leeds will need to sell.
The Whites are in a good financial position and Raphinha has made no suggestions that he is looking for a route out of Elland Road.
If he does stick around at Leeds then there is real optimism that next season could be a very strong one for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
Leeds really pushed on towards the end of this campaign, and if they can add to their squad in the summer, then a push for Europe could be a real possibility.
