Paul Merson has told Soccer Saturday (05/12/20 at 1:45 pm) that Heung-Min Son will score the winning goal for Tottenham against Arsenal today.

The outspoken TV pundit stated that Harry Kane will win the ball after Arsenal ‘pass it around’ without ‘really hurting Tottenham’ before the Spurs man feeds Heung-Min Son to score.

The last time the duo met in the North London derby, Spurs secured all three points with Son getting on the scoresheet.

Heading into this fixture, the form between the two is contrasting and Merson didn’t hold back in stating what will happen.

“I know what’s going to happen,” said Merson. “I tell you what will happen now. Arsenal will have the ball. Pass it around, they will pass it around, they won’t really hurt Tottenham. But they will pass it around.

“Then Harry Kane will get the ball. Son will make a run. He will be in. They’ll score and they’ll win the football match. I dread this football match. I dread it.

“I just cannot see how Arsenal win this game. I just cannot see it. Unless they do what Tottenham do and they all sit back 10 behind the ball.”

  2. Joe Hart

  3. Matt Doherty

  5. Gareth Bale

Since the start of the season, Son and Kane have built quite the double act which has seen them rise to the top of the table.

If they produce that same magic again today then they will leapfrog Chelsea, who moved to the top following their win against Leeds last night.

But for Arsenal, they will be making the short trip across London hoping to spoil Jose Mourinho’s well-organised party.
