Tottenham star Harry Kane has been lauded for his recent performances.

Pundit Paul Merson has told SkySports he believes Harry Kane is the best striker in the Premier League.
Kane, 24, netted twice in the Champions League this week to follow up a brace he scored against Everton days earlier.
Speaking to The Debate (14/9 10pm), Merson was asked who he felt the best striker in the league was.

After initially praising Chelsea’s Alvaro Morata, Merson said that he believes Kane is the best.
He said: “I like him, he works for the team, and always hits the target.
“He just keeps on going and going, he has unbelievable confidence in his ability.
“He’s a Shearer. At the moment he’s blowing his record out of the water.”

Kane still has a long way to go to match Alan Shearer’s Premier League goals tally, but he is on the right track and is young enough to do it.
Kane had a tricky start to the season after failing to net in his first three matches but is now back in top form.
He is a two-time golden boot winner after finishing last season with a flourish, ending as top scorer despite two spells out of action with serious injuries.
