Mohamed Salah is an important player for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.

Merson has also claimed that it is only a matter of time before the Egypt international winger joins Spanish and European giants Real Madrid.
“I can’t remember the last player to say ‘no’ to Real Madrid or Barcelona,” Merson wrote in The Daily Star. “It’s another level. Madrid have won the last three Champions Leagues. Liverpool have only won it once in the last 30-odd years.
“There was plenty of bad blood after last season’s fi nal with what happened between Salah and Sergio Ramos. But would that stop him going there if they come in for him? No chance.”
Merson added: “Salah doesn’t look happy at Liverpool at the moment and we’ve seen this before with players like Luis Suarez and Philippe Coutinho. I watched him score against Huddersfield and his body language looked terrible. That would worry me if I was a Liverpool fan.”

Big claim
Salah is one of the best players in the world, and one should not be surprised if indeed Madrid are interested in the former Chelsea winger and make a move for him.
However, it is hard to see how one could claim that the former AS Roma star is not happy at Liverpool.
The 26-year-old is playing well for the Reds at the moment, and it is only a matter of time before the winger gets back to his best.
The former FC Basel star has scored four goals and provided one assist in nine Premier League appearances for Liverpool so far this season, according to WhoScored.
In three Champions League appearances for the Reds so far this campaign, Salah has scored two goals, according to WhoScored.
