Wolverhampton Wanderers will face Cardiff City in the Premier League on Friday.

Former Arsenal and Aston Villa attacking midfielder Paul Merson has given his take on Wolverhampton Wanderers’ recent run of poor form on Skysports.com.

Wolves have not won a game in the Premier League since their 1-0 success over Crystal Palace away from home at Selhurst Park on October 6.

Nuno’s side suffered a 2-0 defeat to Huddersfield Town at home in the league last weekend.

Wolves will return to action on Friday evening when they take on Cardiff City away from home at the Cardiff City Stadium in the Premier League.

Ahead of the match, former Arsenal and Villa attacking midfielder Merson has shared his concern about Wolves.

Merson wrote on Skysports.com: “I should be going for Wolves, but they have disappointed me lately.

“I don’t see them going down, but it looked like they would have a really good season at one stage and now it’s fizzling out a little bit. They’re a bag of Revels, you just don’t know what you’re going to get.”

Wolves do have a strong team, and they are not exactly in danger of getting caught up in the relegation battle.

However, it is clear that the Wanderers have to start winning games and need to put together a run of positive results.

With Cardiff in the Premier League relegation zone, Wolves should fancy their chances of picking up all three points in Wales this evening.
