Liverpool will face Manchester United at Anfield in the Premier League today.

With Joe Gomez out injured, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp could look towards defender Lovren today.
The Reds will take on United at Anfield in the Premier League later this evening.
Merson believes that 29-year-old Croatia international central defender will step up for Liverpool against the Red Devils this evening.
“Liverpool have problems at the back with Joe Gomez and Joel Matip both injured,” Merson wrote in The Daily Star. “But don’t expect Dejan Lovren to blow their title hopes. Yes, he has a mistake in him but he can also be solid and I think he’ll step up.
“He’s not short of confidence and he has bundles of belief. It’s not bad is it, if you can call on a World Cup finalist with a lorry load of caps to come in and fill the void.
“And he’s playing alongside one of the best defenders in the world in Van Dijk too, so don’t expect Liverpool to suddenly fall apart.”

Big game
With Manchester City winning their Premier League game on Saturday, the pressure is on Liverpool to pick up all three points against United this evening.
Jose Mourinho’s side have not been very consistent so far this season, but they can always step up for the big matches.
Liverpool have to be on top of their game against the Red Devils and have to make sure that they do not make any silly mistakes at the back.
Klopp’s side are second in the Premier League table at the moment, while United are currently sixth in the standings.
