Drinkwater is a good midfielder and has progressed well since his departure from Manchester United in 2012.

The 27-year-old was a key player in Leicester winning the Premier League title during the 2015-16 campaign.

The Englishman is a good signing for Chelsea and will enhance the depth of Antonio Conte’s midfield.

Chelsea have picked up six points from three games in the Premier League so far this season and are one of the favourites to win the league title.
