Paul Merson has said on Sky Sports News (1:31pm, May 23, 2021) that it would be unbelievable if Arsenal finish above Tottenham Hotspur.
Both Arsenal and Tottenham are in action today, the final day of the Premier League season.
The Gunners are ninth in the league table at the moment with 58 points from 37 matches, a point behind seventh-placed and bitter North London rivals Tottenham.
Arsenal will take on Brighton and Hove Albion at the Emirates Stadium in North London in the Premier League today.
Tottenham will lock horns with Leicester City away from home at the King Power Stadium in the league this afternoon.
Merson said on Sky Sports News (1:31pm, May 23, 2021): “I think the way the season has gone, they would take anything, they would take anything.
“It gives them the bragging rights. It would be just unbelievable, if they finish above Tottenham after the season they have had, it would be unbelievable.”

Could Arsenal finish above Tottenham?
A few weeks ago, it would have seemed impossible, but now it is very much possible.
Leicester will give their all to win today as a place in the Champions League is at stake.
Arsenal will have fans back for the game against Brighton, whose season is over and who have nothing to play for.
The Arsenal players will want to end what has been a disappointing season on a positive note in front of their own fans.
Leicester will head into the match against Tottenham as favourites, and given how good they have been this season, Brendan Rodgers’s side could well win the game with relative ease.
