Arsenal seem like a totally different team since they signed the diminutive Uruguayan.

Paul Merson raved about Arsenal ace Lucas Torreira, when speaking exclusively to Sky Sports, but then suggested that no other club in the top four would want to buy the Uruguayan.
The 22-year-old joined the Gunners from Sampdoria in the summer, for a fee thought to be worth in the region of £26.4 million, and he has gone on to be an incredible success at the Emirates.
Arsenal have been crying out for someone like Torreira ever since Gilberto Silva and Patrick Vieira left the club, and the 5ft 6in ball-winner has not disappointed during his time thus far in north London.
Merson offered high words of praise for the midfielder, when speaking to Sky Sports, but insisted that he wouldn’t be wanted or needed at any of the clubs who currently occupy the top four spots in the Premier League table:

“They’ve been crying out for someone like him since Gilberto Silva and Patrick Vieira. He gets around people, closes players down, gets everybody fighting. He’s not a natural passer, but he sets the tempo. And his attitude is great; he leaves nothing on the pitch and gets stuck in. He gets people going. He’s done absolutely outstandingly well, and came up with two massive goals in the last couple weeks. Liverpool wouldn’t buy him tomorrow morning, I wouldn’t have thought any of the top four would. He can and will get better, but he’s done great.”
Next up for Arsenal is a trip to Southampton on Sunday, and with Ralph Hasenhüttl’s men fighting for their lives, Torreira will once again have to be at his tenacious best, if the Gunners are to leave St Mary’s with a victory.
The little Uruguayan has already firmly established himself as a fan favourite at the Emirates, and the Arsenal fans will be more than happy if no other clubs want their midfield warrior.
