Paul Merson has told SkySports he predicts Tottenham Hotspur will beat West Ham at the London Stadium this weekend.

Merson is backing a 3-1 away win for Spurs, pointing out that their performances on the road in the league this season have been better than at home.

Spurs have won their two away matches in the Premier League this season, beating Newcastle 2-0 and Everton 3-0.

At home they have failed to beat Chelsea, Burnley and Swansea City.

“They have been very good away from home – what they did at Everton was brilliant – and I can see them scoring three again.

“The Hammers were good against Huddersfield and solid at The Hawthorns but Tottenham are a cut above both.”
