Paul Merson has told SkySports he expects Tottenham Hotspur to escape Turf Moor with a victory despite Burnley’s impressive home record.
Spurs visit Burnley on Saturday, with the Clarets having lost just three games at home all season, the sixth best home rcord in the division, winning five of their last six.
Tottenham have a solid away record, but have drawn more than they have won, victorious in just four out of 13 games on their travels even though they have lost only three.

Pundit Paul Merson believes Spurs will win 2-1 this weekend, but does not believe it will be easy.
He said: “This will be interesting; Burnley are great at home, and with no Harry Kane it will be a difficult game for Spurs. They give everyone a good game at Turf Moor.
“Spurs need to keep winning to secure a top-four spot. It’s still a hugely important last 10 games for them, and nothing is safe.”
Tottenham are in second place and have a small cushion ahead of the chasing pack, but with tough fixtures against Arsenal and Manchester United still to play, they will not want to make their lives more difficult by dropping points this weekend.
