Paul Merson believes Tottenham Hotspur will win at Wembley this weekend.

Paul Merson has told SkySports that he predicts Tottenham Hotspur will beat Burnley this weekend.
Spurs host the match at Wembley, and must battle mental demons after a poor run of results in competitive matches at the stadium.
Their Champions League and Europa League matches there disappointed last season, and at the weekend they were beaten 2-1 by Chelsea at their temporary home.

Star striker Harry Kane has also failed to score this season, but Merson predicts Spurs will beat the Clarets and the reigning golden boot winner will get off the mark.
He predicts Tottenham will win the game 3-0, adding: “This is a big game for Tottenham to overcome that Wembley hoodoo that’s currently around the club.
“But they showed enough going forward against Chelsea and I think they will turn the corner. Harry Kane’s hit the post twice so far, I fancy him to score for the first time in August in a routine Spurs win.”

Merson correctly predicted that Spurs would fail to beat Chelsea last weekend, but he also tipped them to struggle against Newcastle, a game they won 2-0.
Spurs will want to sign off on a high going into the international break, and end questions hovering over them around Wembley.
If they can’t, then the talk around Wembley will continue to serve as an unwanted distraction.
