Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson expects a ‘good game’ when Tottenham Hotspur travel to King Power Stadium to face Leicester City on Thursday evening.
With Chelsea being crowned the 2016/17 Premier League champions and Tottenham’s second position being guaranteed, it remains to be seen how the players of both teams approach this fixture.
Leicester have done incredibly well since Craig Shakespeare took charge of the club, and Merson believes that he should get the job.

The Sky pundit adds that Shakespeare could leave the club if another manager comes in, as he will be seen as a natural threat.
“I think this will be a good game. Leicester have done alright, and I really think Craig Shakespeare should get the job,” Merson told Sky Sports.
“The players like him, and if another manager comes in, I really don’t see how he’s going to stay there, as the new manager will see him as a threat.
“They nearly got a result at City, and I think there will be plenty of goals in this game. Leicester have a go, and Spurs will go for it too. They looked impressive again against Man Utd, and these are two sides with a lot of confidence.”
Leicester lost 2-1 against Manchester City, but they nearly got a result at the Etihad on Saturday. Lying 11th in the Premier League, the Foxes will be aiming to get into the top 10.
Tottenham have played scintillating football this season and are heading into this fixture on the back of a 2-1 victory over Manchester United.
Merson says that the two sides are playing with a lot of confidence and there could be plenty of goals in this game. He predicts Spurs to narrowly edge their rivals with a 3-2 margin.
