Paul Merson predicted on the Gillette Soccer Saturday show on Sky Sports News last Saturday afternoon (12:46pm, March 31, 2018) that Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere will be at Everton next season.

Wilshere has been on the books of Arsenal his entire professional club football career so far.

The England international, though, is out of contract at the Gunners at the end of the season.

According to The Daily Star, Everton are interested in signing the 26-year-old midfielder in the summer transfer window.

Former Arsenal star Merson has predicted that Wilshere, who is valued at €4.7 million (£4.1m) by CIES Football Observatory, will be at Arsenal next season.

“I have a feeling he will be at Everton next season,” said Merson about Wilshere on the Gillette Soccer Saturday show on Sky Sports News last Saturday afternoon (12:46pm, March 31, 2018).

Jack Wilshere speaks during an England press conference session at St Georges Park on March 20, 2018 in Burton-upon-Trent, England.

Good signing for Everton?

Wilshere has had injury issues throughout his career, but the England international would be a good free signing for Everton.

The 26-year-old is a quality footballer who is a brilliant passer and very comfortable on the ball, and he would be a good addition to Sam Allardyce’s side.

The England international has made 11 starts in the Premier League for Arsenal so far this season, scoring one goal and providing two assists in the process.
