Marco Silva’s Everton will face Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool in the Merseyside derby this weekend.

Merson made the comments ahead of the Merseyside derby between Liverpool and Everton at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.
The former England international believes that Sigurdsson will be key for Everton in their Premier League game against the Reds.
Merson wrote in The Daily Star: “But how many Everton players would get in the Liverpool team? Only Gylfi Sigurdsson for me.
“And that tells the story. Everton are a million miles behind Liverpool at the moment. Sigurdsson is the danger man for them in this game.
“He’s their best chance of getting something and his set-plays are going to be important.”

Quality footballer
Sigurdsson has not always produced by the goods for Everton since his move from Swansea City in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £45 million.
However, the Iceland international attacking midfielder has been playing well for the Toffees in recent weeks and is a key figure in Marco Silva’s team.
The 29-year-old former Tottenham Hotspur man has scored six goals and provided two assists in 13 Premier League appearances for Everton so far this season, according to WhoScored.
During the 2017-18 campaign, Sigurdsson scored four goals and provided three assists in 25 league starts for Everton, according to WhoScored.
