Paul Merson has posted a fantastic Instagram message of Aston Villa star Jack Grealish and how time can fly in life.
The Sky Sports pundit posted two images on his Instagram page – one where a young Grealish is taking a photo with Merson when he was at Villa.
And then, a picture from Monday, where Merson’s young son took a picture with the now-thriving Villa man.
Villa were training in London yesterday, in an open public place, with Grealish, who has been linked with Manchester City, in open discussions with the club’s Sporting Director, Johan Lange.
Nonetheless, this is the fantastic 11-word message Merson posted on Instagram about Grealish yesterday.
There might be a lot of talk about Grealish’s future at Villa, but one thing is for sure, he has the club at heart and always will.
If Villa managed to keep hold of their star man then it would give them an unbelievable lift ahead of the new Premier League season.
But equally, sections of Villa fans will be worried that the inevitable will happen and they will lose their star man.
Either way, all will become clear in the coming days as Harry Kane’s no-show at Tottenham training also adds fuel and drama as to what might happen to Grealish.
