Tottenham Hotspur will face Real Madrid in the Champions League this evening.

Premier League outfit Tottenham will take on Spanish and European giants Madrid in the Champions League this evening.
Harry Kane is one of the best strikers in the world, and the England international striker is set to start for Spurs at the Santiago Bernabeu.
One should not be surprised if the striker plays well and scores a goal, as he is in great form at the moment.

Former Arsenal star Merson has claimed that Spurs are facing a Catch-22 situation regarding Kane.
Merson told Sky Sports: “Big time for Harry Kane. You look at Harry Kane. If he does well here and they get a result, you have got to be thinking on their own doorstep Real Madrid will be thinking, ‘Wait here a minute. Benzema has been here a long time’. And vice-versa. If they go there and get really whipped up, he is going to come away from there and think, ‘My God, I need to move on. I am a million miles off here’. So it’s a Catch-22 for Tottenham, this game.”

Tottenham have a very good team and have progressed well over the past three or so years, but they are not at Madrid’s level yet.
One suspects that Kane and the rest of his Spurs players know that as well, and no one is going to be shocked if the North London outfit lose this evening.
Spurs, though, need to make sure that they give Madrid a run for their money, and that they do not simply let Zinedine Zidane’s side do whatever they want on the pitch when they have the ball.
