Paul Merson names three West Ham players Arsenal won’t be able to cope with

West Ham United play host to Arsenal in the Premier League tomorrow.

Paul Merson spoke exclusively to Sky Sports, and suggested that he doesn’t know how Arsenal will deal with West Ham trio Andy Carroll, Felipe Anderson and Marko Arnautovic at the London Stadium tomorrow.

The Hammers currently sit in 10th spot in the Premier League table, five places and 13 points behind the fifth placed Gunners.

West Ham have shown that they can mix it with the very best this season, but unfortunately for Manuel Pellegrini, they have really lacked any kind of consistency.

Arsenal have had problems of their own too, especially defensively, and they will surely be tested to the maximum in east London tomorrow.

Merson explained how the Gunners will be in for a tough afternoon at the London Stadium tomorrow, when speaking exclusively to Sky Sports, and singled out three West Ham players who will cause the visitors real problems:

“Arsenal struggle to stop goals going in and West Ham’s best form of defence is attack. I don’t know how Arsenal will cope with the likes of Carroll, Arnautovic and Anderson.”

Arsenal will be desperate for all three points tomorrow, as they look to keep pace with the top four, but West Ham will be equally keen to win the game, as they continue their fight to force their way into the Europa League spots.
