West Ham ace came off the bench at Goodison Park.

West Ham suffered a depressing 4-0 defeat at Goodison Park as their poor start to the season continued.
David Moyes’ side fell victim to an inspired performance from Wayne Rooney, while they did not help themselves by missing a penalty while 2-0 down.
SkySports pundit Paul Merson was asked for his view on West Ham’s performance after the game and picked out the performance of winger Michail Antonio.

Merson praised him as the club’s best player, but admitted he was bemused why manager David Moyes did not select the winger from the start.
He told SkySports Soccer Special: “Their best player was Antonio, and he came on as sub.
“I don’t know what they are saving him for. They’ve got Man City next.”

Merson did add that he felt West Ham would have got at least a draw from the game if Manuel Lanzini’s penalty had been scored.
He said: “If the penalty goes in its a game changer, and I think West Ham get something out of the game.”
The defeat leaves West Ham slumped in 18th place, facing a daunting run of fixtures.
Next up they face Manchester City, before tough fixtures against Chelsea and Arsenal. It is not getting any easier for David Moyes.
