Brendan Rodgers’s side, who have played the best football in Scotland this season, are yet to suffer a single defeat in domestic competitions.
Given the strength of the Celtic squad and their form, it is hard to see them lose any match between now and the end of the season.
Former Arsenal attacker Paul Merson has shared his admiration of the Glasgow giants, and has stated, quite amusingly, that the only team that can beat Celtic are Celtic themselves.
Merson has also backed the Bhoys to pick up all three points from their Scottish Premiership encounter against St Johnstone at Celtic Park on Saturday afternoon courtesy of a 3-0 win.
“Celtic are head and shoulders above everybody else,” said Merson on the Premier League Daily show on Sky Sports News HQ on Friday morning (broadcast from 10am, May 5, 2017). “The only team that can beat Celtic at the moment is Celtic.”
