Paul Merson has strongly criticised Arsenal target Leandro Trossard in SportsKeeda and has hailed Alexis Mac Allister, who has been linked with Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur.
Merson has not been impressed by the attitude of Trossard, who is reportedly on the verge of joining Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in the January transfer window.
The Sky Sports pundit has praised Trossard’s Brighton teammate Mac Allister, who is reportedly on the radar of Arsenal’s bitter North London rivals Tottenham.
According to 90min, Arsenal, Brighton and Trossard all are in agreement over a transfer this month.
Arsenal will pay Premier League rivals Brighton a total transfer fee of £27 million for the winger.
The Belgium international has reportedly agreed personal terms with the Gunners.
According to The Daily Mail, the winger has been training on his own after a public fall-out with Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi.

According to CMW last month, Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte has given ‘a mandate to his management to push on the accelerator’ and get a deal done for Mac Allister before his former clubs Inter Milan and Juventus.
Italian outlet L’Interista had earlier claimed that Tottenham, Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Inter all are in the race to sign the Brighton midfielder, who won the 2022 Qatar World Cup with Argentina.
Paul Merson on Arsenal target Leandro Trossard and Tottenham-linked Alexis Mac Allister
Merson wrote: “Alexis Mac Allister just got back from winning the World Cup, and it’s easy to have your eye off it for a while.
“He turned up and put in an unbelievable performance against Liverpool.
“You’ve also got Trossard who’s turning up stinks now – he should take a leaf out of Mac Allister’s book.”
