Could Tottenham Hotspur lose Danny Rose in the summer transfer window?
The England international left-back suggested that he would be open to the idea of leaving Spurs in the future, and claimed that there should be more competition for places in the team.
The 27-year-old star claimed that Tottenham should sign two or three world-class footballers in the summer transfer window as well.
Rose also suggested that he should be earning more than he currently is, which is reported to be £65,000 per week by The Mirror.

Former Arsenal star Merson has given his take on Rose’s comments, stating that although he has no qualms and that the defender is right to want more money, the situation could have been handled differently by the player.
“I have no qualms with Rose,” Merson told Sky Sports. “The only thing I would say is he should have gone to the manager rather than doing a five-page pull-out in the paper.
“I think he should have sat down with the club, manager or director, and said ‘I don’t think I’m getting enough money in this day and age. I signed my contract at the time but time has moved on’. I think he deserves more money. I don’t think he’s wrong there at all.”

Rose is one of the best left-backs in the Premier League and has improved steadily over the past three or so years.
It is hard to see the former Leeds United prospect leave Tottenham in the summer transfer window, but perhaps next summer or two seasons later the Englishman could be playing for another club.
