Tottenham Hotspur will face Crystal Palace at White Hart Lane on Wednesday.

Tottenham will officially move into the ‘new’ White Hart Lane this week when they take on London rivals Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Wednesday evening.
Former Arsenal attacking midfielder Merson believes that Spurs should have waited until next season to move to their new stadium, and that they should have continued this campaign at Wembley Stadium in London.
Merson said on the Gillette Soccer Saturday show on Sky Sports News this past Saturday afternoon (12:22pm, March 31, 2019): “Me, I probably wouldn’t have gone in the stadium yet.
“I would have probably waited till next season. I don’t know too many teams that go into a new stadium and hit the ground running.”

Risky move for Tottenham Hotspur?
Tottenham have been doing well at Wembley, and players are settled at the stadium, and it is a risk to move to White Hart Lane so late in the season.
With Spurs in danger of missing out on a top-four spot in the Premier League table this season, there is no time for the players to ‘get used to’ the new stadium.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side have got to hit the ground running, but it is going to be hard against Palace.
