Paul Merson said on the Gillette Soccer Saturday show on Sky Sports Premier League this past Saturday afternoon (1:31pm, April 6, 2019) that he feels sorry for Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

The former Arsenal attacking midfielder believes that Calvert-Lewin’s hard work for Everton when he plays goes unnoticed.

Promising talent

Calvert-Lewin is a very good and promising young striker who has a bright future ahead of him.

The England Under-21 international – who earns £20,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – works hard for the team in attack, and does allow the attacking midfielders options.
