Newcastle United will host Burnley in the Premier League on Tuesday night.

Paul Merson has claimed that Newcastle’s front three, Solomon Rondon, Ayoze Perez and Miguel Almiron are ‘definitely as good as anyone in the bottom half’ of the Premier League table.
The former Arsenal man also had a message for manager Rafa Benitez by stating that he can now be ‘more open and entertaining’ having previously opting to ‘not lose before they win’.
Rondon, Perez and Almiron started their side’s 2-0 win against Huddersfield Town at the weekend, with the senior duo scoring the goals and their January recruit producing a fine debut performance on home soil.
Nonetheless, Merson made a huge claim about the trio and offered his thoughts on Benitez as he seemingly suggested that his side can now look forward rather than back.
“When you often see Rafa Benitez’s side set up, they’re out to not lose before they win,” Merson told Sky Sports. “But now he has these three up front – Rondon, Perez and Almiron – he has players who can make things happen.
“Those three are definitely as good as anyone in the bottom half. He can relax now, they’re a bit more open and entertaining.”

The Toon Army faithful will be hoping that their three attacking stars take to the field when Burnley visit St James’ Park on Tuesday night.
This will be a big test for the north east club because they will be expected to win against a side that recently defeated Tottenham Hotspur.
If they can deliver then it would be a huge boost to them moving further away from the relegation drop zone and potentially making another late run and finishing in the Premier League’s top 10.
At this moment in time, they are sitting 15th in the table, four points clear of 18th-placed Southampton and six points behind Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth, who are sitting in 10th place.
