Villa have got the better of Middlesbrough 3-0 at Villa Park in the Championship.
Anwar El Ghazi put the Villans in the lead in the 28th minute, and John McGinn doubled the advantage on the stroke of half time.
Albert Adomah wrapped up the scoring for Dean Smith’s side in the 88th minute, as they maintained their challenge for a top-six finish in the Championship this season.
Villa legend McGrath was following the match, and he has taken to Twitter to revel in the win for the Villans.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Villa Park on Saturday afternoon, hosts Villa had 61% of the possession, took 18 shots of which five were on target, and earned six corners, according to BBC Sport.
Visitors Middlesbrough had 39% of the possession, took four shots of which one was on target, and earned two corners, according to BBC Sport.
The result means that Villa are now sixth in the Championship table, while Middlesbrough are currently fifth.
