Dean Smith’s Aston Villa have won against Swansea City in the Championship
Paul McGrath has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Aston Villa’s win against Swansea City.
Villa returned to winning ways in the Championship on Saturday afternoon, as they got the better of Swansea 1-0 at home.
Chelsea-owned striker Tammy Abraham’s goal after just eight minutes proved to be the difference between the two sides at Villa Park.
The match was also Dean Smith’s first in charge of Villa, with the former Brentford manager having recently replaced Steve Bruce as the manager of the Villans.
Villa legend McGrath has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the win for the Villans’ against Swansea, who got relegated from the Premier League at the end of last season and are also aiming for promotion from the Championship.
The win against Swansea means that Villa are now 13th in the Championship table with 18 points from 13 matches, just three points behind Norwich City, who are currently sixth in the standings and occupy the final playoff spot.
