Tottenham Hotspur reportedly wanted Jack Grealish of Aston Villa.

Paul McGrath has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight that Jack Grealish is staying at Aston Villa despite reported interest from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.
According to Sky Sports, Tottenham wanted to sign Grealish from Villa in the summer transfer window.
The Premier League club reportedly made an offer of £25 million for the 22-year-old on Wednesday, but Championship side Villa are claimed to have stated that the youngster was not for sale for any price.
Former Villa central defender and club legend McGrath is delighted to see Grealish – who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger – stay at Villa Park.

Grealish is one of the best attacking players in the Championship, and the 22-year-old staying at Villa Park has enhanced the Villans’ chances of winning promotion from the Championship.
Manager Steve Bruce has a strong squad, and 22-year-old Grealish will be a key player in his team for the 2018-19 campaign.
