The Wolverhampton Wanderers boss wants to see more fans turning up to home games.

Wolves boss Paul Lambert spoke to reporters during his pre-match press conference, and highlighted how his side must improve their home form as a matter of urgency, explaining how it is the players’ responsibility to get more fans coming to watch at Molineux, as quoted by the Express & Star.
The Black Country outfit currently sit in 16th position in the Championship table, just five points clear of 22nd placed Blackburn Rovers, and are by no means safe from the threat of relegation.
Their situation would have been so much bleaker, however, had they not taken 10 points form their last four outings.
The real problem for Wolves this season though, has been their home form, having taken just 18 pints from a possible 51 available at Molineux.
And Lambert told the media how that is an area where his side have to improve if they are to ever make a sustained challenge for promotion to the Premier League, as quoted by the Express & Star:

“If you want to get anywhere in this league, then your home form has to be up there. I think Fulham were unbeaten in about 17 at home. That is the kind of form you have to be on to be at the top end of the table. That is when you will get more people coming to watch you.”
Wolves now face back-to-back home games against Cardiff City and Nottingham Forest respectively, and six points from those outings would certainly make everyone at the club breath a lot more easily as they enter the final stage of their campaign.
