Paul Lambert has suggested that he is optimistic that Helder Costa will be available for Wolves’ clash with Championship table-toppers Brighton on Friday night, the Express and Star reports.
Wolves look to have enough points under their belt to have secured safety – they sit 11 points clear of the bottom three with six games to go, while most of their rivals have just five games left – but they will still be looking to put even more breathing space between themselves and those struggling towards the bottom of the division.
However, they arguably face as tough a task as possible with league leaders Brighton coming to Molineux looking to put one foot in the Premier League, so they will undoubtedly want to have their talisman back after he had to sit out the win over Nottingham Forest and the defeat to Bristol City.
And while Lambert suggested that he would not be risked if there was any question marks over his fitness, he issued a fairly positive injury update regarding the forward.
“Hopefully he’ll be okay, he’s been a big player for us,” he said, as reported by the Express and Star.

“You can’t risk him, he’s one of those kids that at 100 per cent he’s bang on it and ready for it.”
Having Costa back will be a major boost as they look to get the better of the division’s best team. He has scored 10 and contributed eight assists in the Championship this season and undoubtedly has the quality to cause the Seagulls problems.
