Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Paul Lambert is a former Celtic player.
Paul Lambert has suggested to The Scottish Sun a similarity between the fans of Wolverhampton Wanderers and those of Celtic.
Lambert was appointed the Wolves manager in November 2016 following the dismissal of Walter Zenga due to a poor run of results.
The former Aston Villa and Blackburn Rovers manager has praised the Wolves fans.
The 47-year-old has compared the supporters of the Wanderers to those at Celtic and Borussia Dortmund.
Lambert played for German club Dortmund from 1996 until 1997 before moving to Scottish giants Celtic.

“It’s a brilliant club with a really good fan base behind it, but for me the most important thing is the supporters and the players are right with each other,” Lambert told The Scottish Sun.
“And any successful club that I’ve been at, be it Borussia Dortmund or Celtic, the fans and players have a massive rapport.”

Wolves are 16th in the Championship table at the moment with 32 points from 26 matches.
Lambert’s side are eight points clear of third-from-bottom Blackburn Rovers and 13 points behind Sheffield Wednesday, who are currently sixth in the standings and occupy the final playoff spot.
The Wanderers will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Norwich City away from home at Carrow Road in the Championship.
Meanwhile, Celtic currently find themselves at the top of the Scottish Premiership table with 58 points from 20 matches, 19 points clear of second-placed and Old Firm rivals Rangers and have a game in hand.
