Paul Lambert has told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, which was broadcast on TalkSPORT on 12th April, that he believes Celtic can win the treble this season.

Celtic have already won the Scottish Premiership and the League Cup this term.

And Brendan Rodgers’ side now have their sights set on claiming the Scottish Cup to add to their collection.

Celtic will have to overcome Rangers at Hampden Park, if they are to reach the final of the competition.

But Lambert does not see Celtic experiencing too many problems, in their bid to complete the treble.

“Absolutely. It’s in their grasp,” the Wolverhampton Wanderers boss said, when asked if he thinks Celtic will win the treble.

“That game [the Old Firm derby] is open to anything. The league they have dominated for a long time. They can do the treble, no two ways about it.”

Celtic are still yet to lose a domestic game this season, with Rodgers doing a remarkable job since taking charge.

Celtic are currently 26 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table, with nobody in Scotland able to keep pace with Rodgers’ side.
