Paul Lambert has told beINSPORTs that he thinks Rangers won’t be able to stop Celtic next season, unless they invest this summer.
Rangers are under huge pressure to finish on top of the Scottish Premiership next term to stop Celtic from winning 10 titles in a row.
Celtic’s ninth successive league win was confirmed earlier this week, after the Scottish Premiership was called off early.
And ex-Celtic midfielder Lambert does not think that Rangers have the quality to stop his former side right now.
“I’m not convinced that Rangers squad as it stands at the minute is good enough to stop Celtic,” Lambert said.

“If Celtic get 10 in a row they’ll be making DVD’s and scarves and hats!”
Rangers ended up finishing this season 13 points behind Celtic, after failing to keep pace with their Glasgow rivals.
Rangers had actually put up a good fight for the first half of the season, and topped the league heading into 2020.
However, since the turn of the year, Celtic have just accelerated away from Rangers.
Steven Gerrard’s side’s transfer plans for the summer are not yet clear, but they may require some impressive additions if they are to overcome the gap to Celtic next campaign.
