The Congo midfielder has not played for Wolves since October.
Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Paul Lambert has been speaking about the first-team prospects of midfielder Prince Oniangue.
The Congo midfielder has not featured for Wolves since mid-October as he struggles to cement his place in the first-team at Molineux.
Prince Oniangue captaining Congo
Speaking to the Express and Star today the Wolves boss admitted he was struggling to leave the player out, but that competition for places in the club’s central midfield positions meant it was tough for the 28-year-old to get regular playing time:
“He needs to get games. He’s a lovely lad, a really top bloke, but I can only pick two central midfielders and there’s more here than I can count.
“So he’s just going to have to fight like everybody else.”

Oniangue joined Wolves in the summer from French side Stade de Reims and had some impressive moments at the start of his career at Molineux.
He scored two goals in his first nine games for the club but has been a ghost in recent weeks at the club.
He will be hoping that he can push on this month and get some regular playing time. Wolves have just signed Romain Saiss off to go feature for Morocco at the African Cup of Nations and Oniangue will be looking to battle for a starting spot.
But it seems it will be a tough task for the powerful midfielder.
