Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have a class talent in Greg Docherty, as he proved once again.

Paul Ince has said on BBC One [broadcast 26/01/2010] that Rangers boss Steven Gerrard will be ‘dragging’ Greg Docherty back to Ibrox this summer.
The 22-year-old has been exceptional since joining League One side Shrewsbury Town on loan from boyhood club Rangers in August [Shropshire Star].
And Docherty enhanced his reputation even more on Saturday by opening the scoring in the 2-2 FA Cup draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
“I thought he was outstanding today not just defensively but offensively, breaking forward, hitting shots, he has a fantastic strike on him,” Ince said on BBC One.
“This is his goal. I loved to see players making this bursting runs, cuts inside, takes slight deflection and Ruddy has absolutely no chance.
“He was fantastic all game and he’s on loan from Rangers and if Stevie G is watching this performance then he will be dragging him back.”
This is a team who sit eighth in the Premier League, and a side that eliminated Liverpool from the previous round.
The mere fact that Docherty – a £500,000 signing by Rangers last January [The Sunday Post] – is scoring against teams of this calibre is very, very significant.
You could even argue that the Gers-daft midfielder was unlucky not to be recalled already by Gerrard, such has been his influence, but his hunger and appetite will peak by the time he returns to Ibrox in the summer, which he surely will.
