Paul Ince criticises comments from West Ham United co-chairman David Sullivan about Bayern Munich-owned Swansea City midfielder Renato Sanches.

The former West Ham man has criticised David Sullivan for his comments about Renato Sanches.
The West Ham co-chairman stated on the club’s official website earlier this month that Sanches was offered to manager Slaven Bilic before his move from Bayern Munich to Swansea City on a season-long loan deal in the summer transfer window.
Sullivan added that it was Bilic who decided against signing the 20-year-old Portugal international midfielder.

Ince, 49, has criticised those comments and told The Mirror: “I really dislike the comments coming out from the owners.
“They’ve been talking about how they wanted Renato Sanches, but Billic didn’t as he was happy with his squad.
“It’s his team and it’s down to him which players they sign. Whether or not the board wanted Sanches, that’s something which should be kept behind closed doors.
“It’s totally unfair of the board to go broadcasting that – I’m not sure what they are playing at.
“When you see stuff like that, it’s not really a surprise that the team are struggling. I find it pretty miserable to see what’s going on there at the moment.”

West Ham have made a disappointing start to the 2017-18 Premier League campaign.
The London club are at the foot of the league table at the moment, having yet to pick up a point from their games so far.
The Hammers, though, do have a good team and made a number of quality signings in the summer transfer window, including star striker Javier Hernandez from Bayer Leverkusen.
Bilic’s side will take on Huddersfield Town at the London Stadium in the Premier League next Monday evening.
