Paul Ince thinks he can help turn Wolves around, just like Steve Bruce has at Aston Villa.

Paul Ince has been quoted by The Mirror as saying that he thinks he can bring a buzz back to Molineux as he looks to land the Wolverhampton Wanderers job.
Wolves chose to part company with Walter Zenga on Tuesday afternoon, with the 56-year-old Italian losing his job after less than three months in the role.

The Fosun Group now have to make a much better appointment, and a host of names have already been linked with the club, including the likes of Dougie Freedman, Sam Allardyce, Vitor Pereira and Marco Silva.
Freedman appears to be one of the few ex-Wolves players believed to be in the reckoning for a return to Molineux, but another former Wolves ace is keen on the job.
Paul Ince during his time as Blackpool manager
Paul Ince spent four years as a Wolves player towards the end of his playing career, scoring 12 goals in 131 games for the club before leaving after Glenn Hoddle’s departure in 2006, whilst he was even club captain during his spell with Wolves.
The former England international is currently out of work having lost his job as Blackpool boss in 2014, and ultimately hasn’t enjoyed much success in a managerial career that has seen take charge of MK Dons, Blackburn Rovers and Notts County.
Regardless, Ince is desperate to return to Molineux, and has been quoted by The Mirror as saying that he can bring a buzz back to the city of Wolverhampton if handed the chance to manage his former club.

Ince thinks Wolves should be challenging Newcastle, Birmingham and Aston Villa in the Championship, hinting he could be Wolves’ answer to Steve Bruce, and whilst it seems unlikely that Ince will land the job, nobody can doubt his passion for the club.
“Wolves fans are suffering right now and they’ve had a hard two or three years,” said Ince. “It’s time that changes. Newcastle are top of the league, Birmingham are flying, Steve Bruce is getting Aston Villa in the right direction, and Wolves should be up there. The club needs a lift and the city needs a buzz around the place – I can bring that,” he added.
