Heckingbottom could return to former club Bradford City after his short spell at Leeds United.

Paul Heckingbottom is the new second favourite to be Bradford City’s manager after his sacking by Leeds United on Friday (Sky Bet).
Heckingbottom emerged as a 9/1 shot to succeed another ex-Leeds boss, Simon Grayson, earlier this week, but has seen his odds cut to 7/2 since then.
The 40-year-old only moved to Elland Road from Barnsley in February, but won just four of his 16 games in charge and was under pressure early on.

He previously led Barnsley into the Championship and kept them there, which could make him a desirable candidate for Bradford.
Only Grant McCann, Heckingbottom’s old teammate at Oakwell, occupies shorter odds than the former left-back, who also played for Bradford.

Mark Warburton (5/1), David Hopkin – an ex-Leeds and Bradford player – Hannes Wolf (both 6/1) and Martin Drury (8/1) are the other leading candidates.
